Custom buttons are now available to add to your campaigns (except for Multi Charity Event Campaigns).
There are two options available: A regular button, which you can name however you like and link to any web page, or a Facebook link which will act in the same manner as the Facebook icon already on the page, just in a more prominent location.
The Facebook button looks like this with the name still customisable.
Regular buttons give you greater control over what options someone on your page will be able to select from. In addition to your standard donation, fundraising and registration buttons, you might want to link your supporters to your campaign dashboard (https://yourorgname.grassrootz.com - for examplehttps://tourdecure.grassrootz.com/). You could create a button linking to specific sections of your website, you now have complete control!
To add the buttons, follow the steps below:
- Click 'campaigns' at the top of your admin.
- Click '...' and 'edit' next to the campaign you'd like to add new buttons to. Click the 'advanced' tab on the right, then scroll to the bottom and select 'add new button'
- Choose between a regular button and a Facebook button, then complete the required fields and click save all at the bottom. You'll then see the new button on that campaign.
