Google Analytics on Grassrootz

Grassrootz has extensive support for Google Analytics to allow charities to view behavioural data on how their fundraisers and donors are interacting with the platform. 

Google Analytics has 2 major versions, shown below:

• Universal Analytics (if your GA code looks like this: "UA-XXXXXXXX") This version of Google Analytics will be shut down by Google in 2023 (for more information, click here). We no longer recommend installing Universal Analytics but if you would like to learn more about how we supported this version you can read this article > Grassrootz support for Universal Analytics.
• Google Analytics 4 (if your GA code looks like this: "G-XXXXXXXXX"). This is the newest version of Google Analytics and will replace Universal Analytics on 1 July 2023.
